The project which Mark Riddoch presented that attempted to use a home 3D printer to print some replacement axle boxes and springs for his 4mm model of a Morel Propeller wagon was not the success that was hoped for at the start of the project. Here we examine some of the problems encountered and the lessons learnt in undertaking this project.
