Facilities at CIM

EdinburghThe Chartered Institute of Marketing has a lounge with tea and coffee available, it also features a fully stocked bar and has both indoor and outdoor seating. There is a large separate dining room with floor to ceiling glass that can be opened onto the covered walkways, giving access to the garden area. If the weather allows meals may be taken out into the garden area. There is also a dedicated bar in the dining room along with tea, coffee and soft drinks.  Outside there are tables and chairs for you to sit and relax in whilst you have your tea, coffee or a drink from the bar.

The ‘teaching’ rooms are the same as those used for meetings and conferences, so they are well appointed, comfortable, well lit and most have air conditioned.  Many have doors out into the car park area or in towards the gardens. There are hearing loops but no lift to get to the first floor, so if this would be difficult for you, please let the organisers know. There are disabled access ramps for accessing all the buildings and the covered walkways.

Many course participants stay and there are 80 small, double bedrooms. The bedrooms are situated in a separate block spread over two floors.
Coffee LoungeAll bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with a rainfall shower, 4′ 6″ double bed, an iron and a hairdryer. They also have a 32″ TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

There is a full equipped gym on-site that is available for residents to use.

If you live near enough and would prefer not to stay at Moor Hall, that’s no problem. Non-resident students are always very welcome. As a non-residential attendee you will be served lunch and dinner on each full day of the course. On the first day of the course you will receive dinner and on departure days lunch is served to all attendees.

There is free Wi Fi throughout the venue and accommodation. The various buildings are all linked by covered, open air walkways. There is also ample, free car parking around the outside of the site.
