The pandemic has caused the cancelled of two successive Summer Retreats and both the Autumn 2020 and Spring 2021 weekends. We are currently planning the Autumn 2021 weekend and are extremely hopeful of a return to the traditional, in-person format Missenden Railway Modellers Autumn weekend this October. We are closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation and will only proceed with the event if there is a high degree of confidence that it can proceed safely for all those involved.
Current indications are that the event will be able to proceed however there may be additional requirements such as vaccine status, pre-attendance lateral flow tests and some on-site precautions for those attending in order to ensure the safety of the modellers, tutors and Abbey staff.
