Where is Missenden Abbey?

For those who come by train:

Great Missenden station is on the former Metropolitan and Great Central line from Marylebone Station.  Journey time from Marylebone is about 40 minutes.  The Underground no longer reaches Great Missenden, stopping 5 miles short at Amersham.

The rail franchise is run by Chiltern Railways.

Missenden Abbey is in the village of Great Missenden, just off the A413 between Amersham and Aylesbury, amongst the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire. Bus

It is about 30 miles from central London to the North-West - an hour by car, 40 minutes by rail from Marylebone Station (there is a station at Great Missenden) and a similar time by Underground to Amersham then taxi.  Heathrow is 30 minutes away and Luton and hour.  Access by car is good from the M25, M40 and M4, the latter via High Wycombe.
